At Greenhouse, we're continuously focused on realizing our mission to help companies become great at hiring and reducing bias in the process. Thanks to that focus, we've achieved over $110M in annual recurring revenue this year.
As a growing and evolving SaaS company, a lot of things change over the years – your team grows exponentially, you open new offices around the globe, you transform and elevate your brand (and both cringe and smile when you see your old logo) – and hopefully, you weather the storm of a pandemic.
One thing that has remained constant is our mission to make every company great at hiring. We believe that the potential for people to do something amazing has everything to do with being in the right role, on the right team, at the right time.
And I’m so proud to share that this mission has driven us to achieve an incredible milestone – crossing $110M in annual recurring revenue (ARR).
How we got here
Thinking back to when we could fit the entire company (CS, Product, Engineering and Support) in a single room and discuss every piece of customer feedback together – it is fantastic to see how far we’ve come. I still remember walking down an airplane aisle and seeing a passenger using Greenhouse – that was a very real moment!
Over the years we’ve been able to scale our company and build out our product. Even as our company grew, our dedication to our customers has never wavered. Their feedback, input and support has been instrumental in helping us iterate and innovate to create a great product that meets their needs and give them the confidence to hire for what’s next.
And of course, we would not be here if it was not for the hard work and commitment from every employee at Greenhouse who rallied behind a mission they care about – the opportunity to make an impact on people’s lives. Every initiative and action – that challenging sales call, that insightful event, that late night or early morning support conversation – all contributed to making this milestone possible.
What this means
Yes, it’s exciting to join the “$100M ARR club,” but this achievement isn’t about the money. It’s about the impact we’ve had on millions of lives.
Our 5,400+ Greenhouse customers hired over 2M people.
So far, our Greenhouse customers have conducted over 25M interviews and hired over 2M people. Those are millions of lives impacted – whether they’re hoping to buy a house, pay for their children’s education, or go back to work after taking time off to care for a loved one. This represents 2M new opportunities and fresh starts.
Reaching this incredible milestone is an indication that more and more companies are recognizing that hiring is not just the task of the recruiting team – it’s everyone’s responsibility, including business leaders. By prioritizing structured hiring to mitigate bias and creating more inclusive workplaces, people-first companies are essentially investing in the belief that hiring is key to their long term success.
