For organizations that send candidate communication from a custom domain, configuring SMTP used to mean opening a Technical Support ticket and waiting for a back-and-forth that could stretch across days. Self-service setup for custom SMTP domains brings email configuration into your hands. Email-sending settings now live directly under Configure > Email settings, so admins can stand up, change or troubleshoot domain configuration without a support handoff.

What admins can do:

  • Configure custom SMTP credentials and authentication details directly in the app
  • Switch between custom SMTP and Mailgun without contacting Support
  • Update sending domains and credentials when DNS or vendor changes happen
  • Validate setup with built-in checks before going live

Why it matters
