Its 1,000+ employees span retail, manufacturing and corporate roles across the US and Canada, hiring in both English and French.

The challenge‍

Bath Fitter hires across a wide range of roles in two countries and two languages, and for years its tools couldn’t keep pace. The talent acquisition team spent its days working around the system rather than inside it.

Hiring managers stayed out of the system: The previous ATS was never part of how hiring managers worked, so they rarely logged in. Recruiters became the bridge, chasing feedback and updates by email and phone.

A risky, manual handoff to onboarding: With no real connection between the old ATS and UKG Pro, new-hire details had to be entered manually. That added delays and invited errors at the moment that matters most, when a candidate becomes an employee.

No visibility, too much manual work: The team tracked requisitions and time-to-fill in spreadsheets, with little real insight into performance. When a spreadsheet broke, the view of open work broke with it.

The process was really too dependent on recruiters being able to move information between the system and the business.

The solution‍

Bath Fitter moved to Greenhouse, connected it to UKG Pro and used Greenhouse Professional Services to rebuild the whole operation. What used to be a scramble is now one workflow from open req to first day.

An intuitive platform built for buy-in: New hiring managers could navigate Greenhouse without formal training. Approval workflows made it straightforward for recruiters to open accurate requisitions and route offers.

A seamless connection to UKG Pro: Through HRIS Link, job codes, org structure and hiring manager records flow into Greenhouse in both languages.

Automation and real-time reporting: Automated emails, job templates and candidate self-scheduling keep candidates informed at every stage. Every recruiter now also has a reporting dashboard to track progress and surface the roles that need attention.

Hiring managers and recruiters ramped quickly: Recruiters and hiring managers took to Greenhouse fast, a sharp contrast with the old system. Ramp-up was quick, without hand-holding.

Connected hiring workflow with no disruptions: Connecting Greenhouse and UKG Pro was seamless with no disruption to hiring or onboarding. Now recruiters open pre-filled requisitions instead of retyping data, and new hires, resumes and signed offers pass back to UKG Pro on their own.
