With an extensive background leading engineering teams at innovative companies like Ampla Health, PayPal and BlackRock, Sagar brings the technical expertise and leadership to help drive our next chapter of growth.

Sagar joins Greenhouse at a dynamic moment. We’ve recently launched Real Talent, MyGreenhouse and Dream Job, and we’re accelerating AI adoption to make hiring easier, fairer and more effective for our customers. As CTO, Sagar will oversee the engineering organization, partnering closely with Chief Product Officer Meredith Johnson to evolve our product development lifecycle and anticipate the needs of tomorrow’s hiring teams.

A proven track record of building and scaling products

Sagar’s career has been defined by building high-impact products and scaling teams to deliver them. Most recently, as Head of Engineering for revolving credit products at PayPal, he led the development of high-volume credit and payment products for a global customer base. Before that, he served as CTO at Ampla Health, where he launched new banking services and credit products. Earlier in his career, he grew engineering teams at BlackRock and Lunchbox, leading initiatives that balanced technical innovation with business impact.

That blend of product vision, team-building skill and operational rigor makes him uniquely suited to lead Greenhouse’s engineering team into an era where AI will transform how companies attract and hire top talent.
