Greenhouse Brings the Orchestrated Hiring Ecosystem to Anthropic’s Claude

With Greenhouse in Claude, recruiters and hiring managers can check pipelines, prepare for debriefs and draft scorecards directly within Claude, using the same structured hiring process and permissions they already rely on
LAS VEGAS — Greenhouse, the Orchestrated Hiring Ecosystem, today launched Greenhouse in Claude, a plugin that lets recruiters and hiring managers work with their candidates, interviews and open roles without leaving Claude. They can get answers from live hiring data and take approved actions in Greenhouse, all in the same conversation.
Greenhouse in Claude pairs the Greenhouse connector with skills for everyday hiring work, such as a daily brief, pipeline reviews and debrief preparation. Each skill follows Greenhouse’s structured hiring approach, so teams use the same steps and criteria in Claude as in Greenhouse. Greenhouse remains the system of record, and teams can ask questions and take action from Claude. The plugin is part of the Orchestrated Hiring Ecosystem, which Greenhouse launched on October 15 to connect every part of hiring in one system, bringing the right person and the right role together at the right time, while staying open to the outside tools companies choose.
“Hiring teams want to work in the AI tools they already use, and the information they need to hire well lives in Greenhouse,” said Nkem Nwankwo, Vice President of Product Management at Greenhouse. “With the plugin, a recruiter can ask Claude what needs attention today, which candidates have stalled or who still owes a scorecard, and get an answer from live hiring data. People still make every hiring decision.”
“Good hiring depends on the time people spend with candidates, and too much of a recruiter’s day goes to tracking down status and feedback. Claude makes that work faster and simpler. With Greenhouse in Claude, a recruiter or hiring manager can review a pipeline or prepare for a debrief in one conversation, using live hiring data and the same structured process their team follows in Greenhouse. That leaves more time for candidates, and people still make every hiring decision,” said Mike Boufford, Head of People Products at Anthropic.
What hiring teams can do with Greenhouse in Claude:
- Daily brief: ask “What needs me today?” to get the candidates, interviews and scorecards waiting on you.
- Candidate status: check where a candidate stands, with their current stage, history and recent activity.
- Debrief preparation: pull interview feedback into one view before a debrief, including who still owes a scorecard.
- Pipeline review: spot stalled candidates and see how long each has spent in every stage of an open role.
- Scorecard drafts: turn interview notes into a draft scorecard for the interviewer to review and submit.
- Write access: update candidates, move them forward, schedule interviews and create jobs and job posts in Greenhouse, all without leaving the conversation.
- Guided setup: connect to Greenhouse and see what your access includes.
Built on Greenhouse permissions and controls
Greenhouse built and maintains the plugin on Greenhouse MCP, which customers already use to connect approved AI tools. Greenhouse MCP runs on the Model Context Protocol (MCP), an open standard for connecting AI to business systems. Each person signs in with their own Greenhouse account, so Claude can only see and do what they already can in Greenhouse. Admins decide which information and actions are available, and people make every hiring decision.
Availability
Greenhouse in Claude is in open beta today and is available in the Claude directory for Greenhouse Recruiting customers on Core, Plus and Pro plans. It works in Claude, Claude Cowork and Claude Code. Learn more about Greenhouse MCP.
